Disability News provides information on disabilities and the health services available to those with disabilities. It is aimed at improving the health and lives of all people who have incredible abilities, but are seen by their disabilities. Categories include everything from accessibility to health care, medical treatment, wheelchairs, mobility and special needs. 

Disability is defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 as a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities. Mental disorders, known as psychiatric disability, and some chronic diseases may also be considered disabilities. Cerebral Palsy is the main focus of the site but it also provides health care data to help others with a different diagnosis. A disability may occur at anytime during a person's lifetime, or from birth. The business of assisting those with special needs has been expanding as additional rights and benefits expand to improve their quality of life.
